Yes, we do. And while i don't agree with this comic (who is using hyperbole and dating to make a joke), i still don't understand how women who choose to dress up and go to sports bars, lends understanding to men treating all women as objects rather then as people. Its the "object" part that's the problem. Because then you're only seeing a woman as a tool for you're sexual gratification.
Maybe clarify why heals and makeup and club clothing make it ok to dehumanize someone. Even if someone ends up being a one night stand that you never see again, sex is between two people. Not just one person using the other for gratification.
Most women I know would not agree. Yes, some women build their entire lives around meeting men. But I think that's pretty dumb. Wouldn't it be miserable to dress and act and do things just to attract men/women? Why would anyone set up their whole life like this? Maybe this is why people get into relationships, then break up because the person "suddenly changed." You can only go for so long pretending to be someone else.
I get what you're saying, but looking good and KNOWING you look good isn't just for a guy, it's for yourself as well. I sure as hell would not try to make myself look perfect everyday just so that somebody would find me attractive, I'd do it so that I have that extra bit of self confidence as well
If you know what I mean.
