I'm not sure why people are disliking your link. I mean yeah its creepy, but its the truth. I for one hate spiders of any kind big or microscopic, but I have to admit its a pretty fascinating article.

False, the picture is from brazil, and it's not raining, they're a social spider, they create a giant web as a colony of spiders, rather than living solitary.
