A woman was born with the chromosomes XY. Her body couldn't use testosterone, so she developed as a woman. Is she less of a woman because of her chromosomes? We are more than XY or XX. If a man's penis is cut off in an accident is he less of a man for no longer having one? We are more than our parts and for you to see people only for their genitalia lessens humanity as a whole. We are much more. Gender is complicated. Gender is not black and white. It is a spectrum of infinite identities. You lessen yourself when all you see is your parts.
Like I said above. Bisexual are attracted to both females and males, while pansexual are attracted to ALL genders, such as female, male, tfemale, tmale, people of the third gender, the ones that dont identify in any gender, etc
Btw, is tfemale a transgendered female? I'm sorry for all the questions, but I'm just not familiar with all of these gender-labels. For me, it's always been female and male, and then if you were born a male physically and later changed to female, you would be counted as "regular" female. And those who were born without a specific sex/with both, were so rear that I never knew the "name"
Of course it's okay to ask! No one is born knowing, not even them. I'm transgender, and I never knew about it until last year. I saw a documentary about it, and it all fit in, and it felt right.
Yes tfemale stands for transgender female, as male to female :)
Well, actually, transgender women are still of the female gender. Just not the female sex, which is different. I am of the male gender, but the female sex. So, t-male and t-female aren't genders, exactly. Trans-feminine and trans-masculine, however, are genders.
@songofthewhitestag het i hope you wont fin this weird haha. But i just remember what you said about you being under the understanding that I was a transgender woman.
Well Ive said Im a lesbian before here on FS, because I have female sex, but im sure you can understand, its still hard to define myself clearly. Im transgender, I identify on the male gender, but if anyone saw me they would have no idea haha I live with my -homophobic- parents, so Im repressed. I have a female body, and I have a total prefference for the same sex.
I hope I can make my transition someday and Im sure I'll be with men then.
Im wishing this isnt too weird haha I just was thinking about your comment :)
Okay I would like to point out that a phobia is the fear of something. People that react like this are not homophobic, it would be more correct to call them prejudiced. Also, I'd just like to say that not all people that disagree with homosexuality act like the way they are portrayed.
i think the guest is trying to say that if someone doesn't like homosexuals, that doesn't make them a homophobic? the guest might be saying that it's a broad generalization to say that EVERYONE that doesn't like homosexuals is homophobic
Yeah, it's confusing.
Like, there is the not liking a gay person, but not BECAUSE they're gay.
Same as not liking a latinamerican person, but not BECAUSE they're latinamerican
Well yeah. We weren't created to be gay. If we were two men would be able to make a baby together. And two women could too. But they can't. It's unnatural. I'm not saying it's bad though. If you are gay, that's fine. It's just not what we're supposed to be is what I'm saying
I realize that, but what I'm saying is that you saying in the situation depicted in the picture , it would be more accurate to say that homosexual people would be eating dirt rather than food is uncalled for and rude in my opinion.
In many species, homosexuality in a few individuals is beneficial to the entire species. Homosexuality has also been observed in every animal that can dream, and also many reptiles and fish.
Lucky people who follow religious faiths are always able to have their own children and never need to rely on science, hey thatoneguy? Cause I suppose if it weren't possible for them to conceive naturally that would be like a sign from god or something..
Can you explain why you guys use the bible as a reference point as to why it's wrong, when you don't 'have' to follow other rules or whatever set out by the bible? I don't understand that? (And this is a genuine question, I'm not trying to pull the piss)
and that's the way it was. people stopped paying attention to religion and started doing whatever they wanted to do. then, they wanted what they were doing to be okay with society, so they had reforms and stuff to make their choices okay. just because people are okay with something doesn't make it less wrong (i'm just going off of what you said 5h3r1ock3d... i'm not ranting about homosexuality in this reply)
@5h3r1ock3d
Again with that "the Bible said this common everyday thing is wrong too" argument! Hasn't anyone explained yet the history of the Bible, why those rules are there, how Jesus's sacrifice caused some of them to be "done away," and basically why comparing "God said homosexuality is wrong" to "God said eating shrimp is wrong" is comparing apples and oranges? You can support equality, but please use a valid argument! Try "the intent of 'freedom of religion' is based in letting people live how they want to as long as it doesn't threaten others. You're free to believe what you want about those with non-heterosexual sexualities, but that doesn't give you the freedom to persecute them." Or "God also taught forgiveness and loving your neighbor. None of His teachings requires you to be a jerk towards sinners." Or you can go for an insult: "even if you think they're going to hell, if you decide to make their life a living hell by squashing their rights, that must make you the devil."
But here's the thing. God said to love everyone. Every human on this earth is of his creation. He made everyone, of every gender or preference, the way they are. If you decide to call that a sin, Jesus died for their sins too. They are humans, and cannot change. The fact that humans hurt one another for silly reasons that can't be changed, reasons that he allowed, must truly disappoint him. Nobody deserves to be discriminated against, and no God wanted you to say such vile things.
sometimes the homosexual doesnt say "cool!" though, its more like, "wtf, you are an evil christian, gay rights, Gay Rights, GAY RIGHHHHTS!!!" snaps LGBT band in your face and makes fb status of you being a homophobic bastard just because you calmly stated you liked the pizza. Hypocrisy.
No, no homosexual would snap at a person just because they say they are straight. It makes no sense. Is when u push that other pnes should try pizza, cause probably u just havent tried the right one yet or whatever
"So the limp noodle goes in the center of the cheerio..."
You were born in the right gender? I'm happy for you
Yes tfemale stands for transgender female, as male to female :)
Btw you're like me! Im in the male gender :)
