Better still, you give him the empty box to take with him.

Guys: now is not the time to skimp and try to impress her with your "bargain hunting" skills and try to get a cheaper brand. Buy exactly the kind she sent you to get and in the same size package you were told.
Guys, you don't understand. It can create serious medical problems if you get the wrong type of tampon. If you get a tampon that has too high of an absorbtion rating, then it could cause Toxic Shock Syndrome.
Toxic shock syndrome can really only occur if you leave it in too long. You're not supposed to get too high of an absorption than you need, because it hurts to take out a dry tampon. TSS is very rare and occurs because old blood is left inside of you for too long, when the blood is meant to be excreted.
Oh yes, tampons are soooo much better. I was afraid to use them until I decided to finally try them. And you would think it would be uncomfortable and it would hurt, but you can't even feel it.
You don't feel the Niagara Falls in your pants when you stand up or sneeze or laugh too hard.
I am so afraid to use a tampon. I'm thinking of getting a diva cup, because tampons just are so terrifying. I feel like my vag is just going to have tiny pieces of tampon "cotton" in it and it's going to just stay there and be gross... also the first time I tried to use them, I got this sharp pain in my head... confidence tips?
Just relax and be calm because none of that is going to happen. I was afraid to and I just did it. Take it slow and easy and eventually you'll get it. I know its kind of scary, but there's nothing to be scared about.
If you're unsure how to put it in, there are explanations online and some youtube videos to show how you do it. That's actually how I figured it out.
I don't know what the sharp pain in your head was. It may just be a coincidence. But if you do start using tampons regularly, be aware of Toxic Shock Syndrome. It's extremely rare, but still possible. You might get a small paper about it in each box of tampons, that also has instructions of how to insert. I think it depends on the brand, but I get Tampax Pearl and they have that little paper of info in every box.
Actually i agree with a comment above i might be only girl from my generation that prefer pads! Only use tampons if u really have to and to me are a nightmare to put in and out maybe cuz im not used to it
Any time I wore those thinner pads that was supposed to absorb a lot, I was afraid I would leak. I still wear pads at night because you're not supposed to wear tampons overnight. And I still keep a few in my bag, along with tampons and liners, just in case it's necessary.
It probably seems like a nightmare putting in and taking out tampons, because you probably haven't done it enough. They're especially great in the summer, because you can go swimming with a tampon on, but you can't with a pad.
Yeah first time i had to use it cuz of an activity in grd school in a pool imagine....i wasted a box trying and my friend was instructing me and encouraging me over yhe phone...lol embarrassing

Can I share some of that wine, instead?
