Just found out my mother had a pet raccoon growing up

I would like to formally request more info about this whole situation.

She lived kind of out in the country up in Phillips, Wisconsin, a few miles from the main part of town, so it was pretty much the middle of nowhere, and you can see quite a few deer and other minor wildlife around the area (I actually once joked about how a bear could show up and watch you in the bath when I found out my grandma would be putting in a huge bay window above the tub). Before it got remodeled, the house was pretty small, so the main room was the kitchen and had a door to the living room, so I would think a lot of her family's time was spent in that general area. Apparently they found some baby otters in the cabinet under the sink, and since they weren't causing any trouble, they just let them live under the sink.

I am all sorts of jealous.
