What do you not understand that European diseases decimated 90+% of the natives. Also, how is it attributed to Americans (not just the USA but Canada as well) when I'm pretty sure it was European settlers and explorers that delt most of the damage.

Also the so called Native American genocide takes place over centuries and the Holocaust took place for around a decade big time difference and I agree people are quick to attribute the treatment of natives to Americans when in fact Europeans were the ones coming to the new world in droves an slaughtering opposition to colonial expansion (I'm curious what they teach in European history books because I'm from Canada)

Americans are descendants from those Europeans, and Spaniards. They are historically the ones to blame, but not currently.

As soon as they crossed that sea boom they turned into Americans I guess that's how you justify all your imperialistic transgressions they weren't European because they moved away
