He's specifically trying to command the room by proving to everyone (in reference to dogs and that sort of mindset) that he is alpha. Literally, every move that guy seems to make is a power play, and he's ballsy enough to get away with it as everyone else tries to be civil simply by not giving a shit.

He's a careless asshole. But you should be happy it's Obama and not Bush because then you'd be invading eastern Ukraine right now. Anyway I like someone with some balls, like the Bushes, Angelina, all Israeli Prime Ministers and of course Maragarett Thatcher.
