Where I live, most of our ancestors were poor Irish farmers and share croppers. Their social class wasn't much higher than the slaves.

Ok, so Black History Month can be a little bit of a pita for some of us(ofa) whities. I get that. Still I sooo much rather be Whitey with an ambivalent and controverse heritage, than be a black person in a white country, or a muslim in some christian, or a christian in some muslim countries. #whiteboysproblems

The ancestors of most White people in the US originally came from Germany, Italy and Ireland, not England.
