Remembering names

I could know you for years, know everything about you, and all of a sudden I will forget your name for for a good hour or more

My friend calls one of my ex's, whom is named cameron, carebear because that is the only way he can remember him

Ah, the awkwardness. Or, when you've known someone for long enough that it's EXTREMELY impolite to ask, but you don't quite remember their name...
This happened to me the other day. And I had to write their name down where they could see... I feel really bad, but I CAN'T remember names. I just can't...

I have had a good friend for at least three years. I still don't know his name, and each day I get more scared to ask. Same thing for some of my teachers.
