I can only imagine how expensive that would be in comparison to regular casts and I can barely afford those

i doubt it will be expensive in the near future; all you need is some ink and a 3D printer

3D printers can cost anywhere upwards of $3000 or so which isn't so expensive if you compare it to other hospital equipment

using ultrasound to heal broken bones is still being researched it had mixed according to the article I read on ifs. but the cast actually only cost around $10.00 according to the article because most of the software is open source. you just need a 3d printer
