I honestly think some of my friends are really unfair to some of the cool kids. Like ok sure they aren't nice, but it helps nothing when you call them sluts and bitches to their face on a regular basis.

I can sort of see the truth in this. in trying to make kids who'v been bullied for being 'different' feel accepted, it's become a cultural norm to consider kids who are popular or considered 'cool' as always being douches. I've found lots of the 'cool' kids to be really nice, and some kids who've been bullied to be douches (why? because they thought being bullied gave them rights to everything). not saying bullying is good, but it isn't right to class the other side as bad.

If your bullying kids because they're just different, then you deserve to be considered an asshole by everyone.

If someone is bullying someone just because they're different, then said bully more than likely has something bothering them about themselves that causes them to draw attention to others' differences. I'm not saying that this bullying should be overlooked because the person inflicting it has insecurities, but I am saying that labeling them as an asshole may not be the solution. The logical solution would be to find the root cause of the issue and figure out why this bully is who they are, and then help them get through it in a less mean way. (And this is coming from someone who was severely bullied for many years, so don't say that I'm only saying this because I have no idea what it's like to be bullied).

Yeah the teachers basically love the cool kids. Idek why it's so unfair. Sadly I am one of the introverted background kids and don't get much attention,

All of my teachers generally recognize when someone is "cool" and snobby, and they tend to treat the quiet and less popular kids a little more tenderly. Teachers are humans too...they generally can and do know when someone should be treated with compassion.
