Before some of you snap at the title of the poem, keep in mind she does mention and thanks allies. And since it's poetry, the title sure was better than "Dear homophobic people"
I don't care if you are straight or gay but I just hate seeing people kiss in public especially in school I know its your life you can do whatever you want it just makes me feel weird

The fact that she involved God in this poem really made it easy to counter. I KNOW I'm going to get downvoted to oblivion but maybe I'll get some thumbs up. I don't hate gays, but I'm not going to hide my stance of being against gay marriage; since God was said in this poem, I can say that in all the religions with their own Bible, he defines marriage as a holy matrimony between a man and a woman. God creating rainbows? It's represents a covenant between you and God (Genesis 9:13). He states that gayness is a sin. But he still loves all of us, cause we all sin we just sin differently. That's why He died for our sins.
I'm not here to preach, but I know after this comment there is no way I'm ever going to get my suspended account back because of the potential fights I can see building on this post. You can look at my most recent comments and most recent posts. I did nothing to go against the rules of the site, but hey. Funsubstance banned me for no reason which made me lose respect for this site. An explanation would've been great but they never did.

Losing respect on the site doesn't mean to lose respect on the user, who have nothing to do with banning. But I hear what you say and I think you are calm so I believe you dont wanna fight.

Yes, homosexuality is marked as a sin, but in the eyes of religion we all sin, you're right. I guess anyone that uses that argument have no point at all.

Just cuz it's classified as "poetry"by a few doesn't make it any good. And why the hell does she get offended if straight guys respond to her "flirting?" How are they supposed to know she was "just messin' wit ya?"
