With this being the internet I think you should tell people not to be offended by those posts instead of expecting people to stop posting their opinion.
I don't think my post will change much at all. But to know that I put that out there, knowing it could prevent people from posting their opinion, it's a start. I know this is the internet, but there's already so many posts forcing opinions down other people's throats, and people should guard their feelings on the internet because someone's bound to be offended. I don't expect anything from people, maybe someone to agree with me. But again, with this being the internet, I'm allowed to post this so I hope I don't offend you with this post.
I think that you can share your opinion about a musician's music, or what they've been up to, because as a celebrity, they've subjected themselves to public opinion. Maybe people shouldn't say "all justin bieber fans are stupid" or things like that because it chastises the fans, not the star. But if someone is saying their honest opinion about a celebrity, and not being a complete ass about it, they shouldn't be attacked for their opinion.
@ kaitlynng95 - I feel like people also have a right to feel offended about things as well. It comes down to how they handle it though. Telling people to not be "offended" is not the solution.
Note: I'm not referring to the people who are complete jerks and need everyone to agree with them.
Yeah, I mean really what it boils down to is you should take anything on the internet too seriously. People shouldn't be as*holes and we can tell them not to be as*holes, but there will still be a few out there that act stupid. So the best we can do is remember that no ones opinion matters accept our own.
I don't like Justin Bieber's music espacially his personality but he does have some catchy beats in his songs the lyrics not so much. I actually like One Direction a little bit they have quite a few good songs and their personalities are not bad.
Thank you. I am older and my formative years were in the late 90's. I listen to a lot of metal. The thing is I flippin love katy perry... judge away. You can lead bird to a bush but you can't get too stoned.
I don't really get it. He spent the whole paragraph explaining that all music is unique and people shouldn't hate etc. then at the end he basically said that not all old music is good... Wouldn't that count as "judging" old music?
Well actually guest, I'm a girl. And you make fair points, it would've been better to say saying Christianity is the best religion. I'm not judging old music. If you categorize all music into either old music or new music, I'm saying that not all old music is great, just as now all great music is old. If I was judging it, I would've said used specific examples, providing my opinion, however a lot of posts about music that I see are on the debate that old music is the best kind. Sorry for the misunderstanding :)
Its called hardcore or post-hardcore not "screamo" and my friend you are mistaken heavy metal is like Black Sabbath, Metallica, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, Anthrax, etc.
Wait, lemme rephrase.... I think she meant death core, rap core, etc. Stuff like Dead by April, Amon Amoth, Infant Annhialator, The Used, In Flames, etc
Same with the skinny women and real women have curves thats like saying yeah that beauty standard is dumb lets have this instea you know what i say anything is beautiful
when people say Lana doesn't smile, I show them a collage and videos of her laughing her ass off because she smiles a lot it's just sometimes she needs to be serious, it's so annoying
But I like confident
