I did the same thing, gave it another shot and now it's one of my favorite shows =) just get to phantom lord, it gets better and better from there

Did the same thing. The subbed version and one of the dubs had terrible audio but after trying the Funimation dub it was good. They are a bit behind the other dub but the other is just so bad, it's unwatchable. Also new episodes in 2 days, woo.
