Is it weird that I am 16 and relate to the dad's' reaction more than the teenagers' reaction?

I think it's awesome that these dads took the time to take their daughters to a concert. Some parents won't or don't have enough time or may not even be around.

Some parents would rather play COD than so much as talk to their kids. I'm with you, whether they want to be there or not, I'm happy to see dads that are at least supporting their kids' interests.

I would totally take my daughter to see them, but I'd just go crazy. I'd dance and cheer obnoxiously loud, and just try to take all the attention from the band, at least for our little area. She would never ask me to go to one of those concerts again, and I wouldn't let her go to any of them without me. I would then introduce her to proper music that isn't entirely controlled by marketing schemes based on teenage insecurity.
