Can we also take a moment to notice that Nani's body was not super skinny, she had some belly fat, and her nose is a bit big, yet even when I was a kid and Lilo and Stitch came out, I wanted to be as pretty as her one day.

It says "be a mommy," I took that as meaning the one raising her. It didn't say she is her mother.
