Why is that though? Like why don't many of us know what we want? Is it because we're still trying to figure ourselves out or were we pressured too much to find something too fast? I'm not close to graduating but this really confuses me considering everyone makes it seem like finding a 'perfect career' before graduation is the norm.

Because your dream career isnt always going to turn out the way you imagined it in your head. And so much more

As an employee of a major corporation for the past 5 years I agree. Find a niche and go for it

Also don't ever feel pressured to finish in four years. If you can, that's great and congrats!!! What colleges aren't telling you is that a large percentage of students take more than the standard four years to complete their undergrad. And when you find something you're truly passionate about study it outside of the classroom too! (ok that's pretty obvious) College was very very weird, personally, and I feel as though nothing in all my years of public education gave me any clue or skills to handle myself when I got there. Changed my major about five times first semester freshman year. You've just got to find what you love to do and what you're good at and pursue it. Yes you'll most likely have to work a job that has almost nothing to do with your major (unless you go in for something very specific like the medical field or certain trades) but don't ever lose your passion for what you love.

Thanks, I actually really needed this right now. Anymore advice on being/becoming an adult would be greatly appreciated since this transition has been a lot more intense than I thought it would be....
