Though in my case, I kinda got lucky with it. I saw the movie first, then read the book. Going that route allowed me to enjoy the movie. It wasn't that bad... I probably would have hated it otherwise.

The title speaks truth. World War Z is an epic book and the movie is just a generic zombie movie that barely relates to the book.
