He said and killed the ones who grew up. No joke, in the first books version of Peter Pan he thins them out in the case of growing Up.. Oh and they have their own trees in which they go down to the base, right? In the original, he "does something to them so they fit"

Peter Pan essentially kidnaps children so he can have friends, and the only adult, who has a legitimate beef with Peter, is the villain.

You know,Barrie, the author wanted to show that Peter kills for fun. His inspiration were the Davies kids he took care of, after their parents died. He "grinded them against each other in his thoughts", like somebody does "with two sticks to create fire".Peter Llewelyn Davies, Peter Pan was named after him, threw himself 1960 in the way of a train (subway). He called it "a cruel masterpiece". Another son drowned himself. Some critics say about the first version, it's a books about rape, because one of the first lines remembers of a line in one of the most well known poetry about rape, written by Goethe. But you know, that is just an opinion. I guess, he didn't think much about it and created a Peter Pan, which was darker than the version now, because of his hard times.
