Not sure if this is true BUT I heard that high school is one of the hardest things you'll have to go through with the peer pressure and the homework and the transition from kid to adult. Kind of makes sense. Correct me if I'm wrong cause I honestly have no idea...
I never thought it was ever fair for people in different stages of life to say, "Stop being a little bitch, you have it easy." Yeah, it might be easy for a 30-year old to go through that high school thing again maybe. But don't you remember how hard it was to deal with peer pressures, puberty, vicious amounts of school work (if you're not from Finland), and just trying to figure this sudden drastic change in your body, mind and surroundings? It's like a teenager saying to a toddler, "Stop crying. Walking is like the easiest thing to do."
The changes and everything mentioned above are difficult for a teenager especially the ones with shitty parents who you can't talk to or the socially awkward ones who just can't make friends because of some traumatic childhood experience they suffered. I think this post is about people brag about getting a diploma that wasn't that difficult to ascertain. Everyone who shows up and kinda does the work gets a diploma. American schools rarely teach things like critical thinking and they often just cram info in your head so you can pass the test but won't remember most of it in a few months. Hell I was failing biology with a 40% (I thought I was being a rebel or something idk) and my teacher said if I pass the regents she'll give me a passing grade. So in other words I learned next to nothing. My fault sure. Still have a diploma I didn't work for. Case and point ask people you know graduated high school what direction the sun rises and sets. Many don't know even though it never changes.
I'm in high school right now and it is definitely not easy and probably will only get worse as high school goes on but when my brother got out of high school he said that it was definitely a lot tougher than college and than after college. So no high school is not the easiest time of our lives. I have cried over school too many times, I have worked my ass off but still didn't get the grades I really deserved. I have been put under peer pressure and that is not as easy as people say to over come. There's cliquey girls and mean people in general. I hate it.I am going through hell also known as high school. And that was only freshman year. Let's see how the next 3 years go. Than let me tell you about high school and how easy it is not
Actually being in high school is difficult and for a lot of people (including myself) its a bad experience. However now that I'm older and looking back the things you need to worry about in hs seem so minuscule in comparison to what you have to worry about once your out
Wow. Looks like Cratergrave is catching ALL the teens today. Well done. This was a hilarious read.
But seriously, grade school MIGHT have been a little easier. Just sayin'.
