Well if they had a telescope that could see that far away, surely they would understand the same things wouldn't be happening because they would understand light travel.

Basically, they are seeing the past because the light rays from millions/billions of years ago would just now be reaching planets from far away.

Sure, humans and dinosaurs together, along with the trilobites, megalodons, homo erectus, homo neanderthalensis, saber-tooth tigers, and wooly mammoths. I'm sure that makes perfect sense, even with the fossil record, and carbon-14 dating suggesting much otherwise.
