I was in my phone all of the last quarter of school because we got out of summer later then other schools doing nothing but "preparing us for high school" which was just moving from one small building to the next. We didn't even learn any thing they just keepted telling us what classes we had and how you behave.
(In case your wondering my (old) school was a middle and high school if I were there I would have been back before August)
I'm not struggling I have honor roll every year and quarter since 7th grade. And apparently I learned nothing ether way because if I did put my phone away all I would of learned was to be bored in class.

We are not allowed cellphones at school. If we are found with our cellphone it will get taken away until the next term(about 3 months) and our parents have to fetch it. (my school also has security cameras throughout the school)
I never said we were allowed to use phones I would just hide it in class. Although I was on FS and my friend sitting next to me laugh so hard the teacher caught me. But luckily 2 other friends helped me get it back via distract teacher and sneak in class. Good thing I did that too because there was no school the next week and if I didn't steal it back then I wouldn't be commenting here. It also doesn't help that I'm not going to go to that "school" anymore.
