Well you'd have to see your doctor first ya know, but my grandpa just had his surgery in one eye (he's gonna do the other eye in a month I believe) and the color of his iris changed from brown to blue! We joke that he's a husky now. But on the plus side, he does see better!
I'd recommend it. But only for some. And even then, do your research on the ophthalmic surgeon. One of the surgeons I worked with, specialized in LASIK and reconstruction from shoddy surgeries. Some patients required corneal grafts or a brand new lens after botched LASIK.
If you are a good candidate, you will still have to go in for revisions and tweaks as your eyes age. Still, for many, it's way better then glasses or contacts.
I hate how people automatically think people with glasses, such as myself, can see extra fingers with our glasses off. Its blurrier that's it. Wouldn't it be cool if we could actually see like that last picture?
I have a lazy eye and my eye doctor said that I should get laser surgery to repair it because it strains the other eye. Does it hurt? I know thats a stupid question but still.. also, I would love vision like that last picture
Yes, but usually only as a last resort and you may want a second opinion before you take the plunge. From what I know, they usually start by trying to correct strabismus with glasses or exercises. If that's not effective, the surgery I'm familiar with, involves taking out the eye, and cutting one of the muscles of the eye shorter, then putting it back. It's painful, but not as bad as one would think.

Wow. Thanks for the link. That was really helpful. That was alot of useful information. I wear glasse so I could go through life without the surgery. Thanks! Have a nice day
