Olympic ice skaters' faces before they are skating and while they are skating

I don't skate but I love watching figure skating competitions that I actually know what you are talking about. Except the charlotte spiral

I am only doing singles rite now but my coach says i am good enough to do doubles and i am learning my axel RN annnd i just got a lutz :/ im not that good but my coach tells me all the time if i could skate everyday i would be able to compete in the 2018 Winter Olympics :)

@beyondtheriverbend a charlotte spiral is where you're backwards on one foot with your other one above you and you reach down to grab your foot, so you're like in the splits going backwards! It's scary but awesome fun! @fluffydinosaur3467 I'm learning double lutz and they're so hard omfg! I'm working towards the olympics but I know it'll never happen, I'm 13 and so far behind all the girls at my rink, there's a 10 year old with a consistent double axel :(

yeaaa im 14 and its the SAME it puts me down but my coach is so loving and nice so i feel betterbut yeah i want to go to the olympics but i only skate once a week :/ and we are trying to do 2 times a week and then just buy ice time every other day.. and OMG the charlotte spiral sounds fricken awesome! i can do wall splits and a bow and arrow so i bet i could do that

OMG WE'RE THE SAME AGE!!! It's actually so hard no to fall sideways haha... it took me months doing it on the bar reaching down to my foot before I could do it straight off without moving! I skate twice a week and do my own off-ice programme every afternoon and it's been really helping. Are you a left handed or right handed jumper? What are you better at, jumps or spins? what's your favourite jump and spin!??!

I am better at jumps and my favorite spin is a back spin and my favorite jump it a loop :) also idk what side i jump on but i am right handed. also i asked one of my "coaches" (he was an olympic skater and got 2 gold metals) he calls a charlotte spiral a split spiral and he said if i tried i could do it XD and today I JUST STARTED DOING beilman spirals and im good at high leg spirals....also if i can ill post a pic of me doing a beilman under insperation :)

omfg this is so creepy... I'm better at jumps and my favourite spin is layback or back spin and my favourite jump is axel or loop! I'm right handed too!! Charlotte spirals are so much fun, my coach is from britain and she's lovely :) I loveeee biellmann spins but I'm not very good on biellmann spirals because I lean forwards too much and catch my toepick -.- Working on it haha
