While yes, I do agree. Some have injuries that make it necessary. For example, while my cousin is morbidly obese, she also has broken her hip thus making it very difficult for her to walk
You're absolutely right. I have a cousin who has epilepsy she was really tiny but the medicine made her gain weight. Her knees are destroyed. None of which is her fault.
They should be required to park at the farthest spot from the store entrance to get some exercise. I'm fatter than normal and I park in the back 40, not for the exercise but so I don't get door dings from people that don't give a shit about other people's property.
I'm not obese but have a placard for other reason but choose to park in regular spots whenever available. I only have the placard because my family is scared I may get hit on my deaf/blind side. I hate that thing with a vengeance it makes me feel like a fool because rude people question why I have it.
In my experience, I have never seen a fat person park in a handicap spot. It's usually "entitled" seniors who feel because they're old, they deserve a close parking spot. By the way, since we're on this fucking topic, why the hell are there handicap parking spots anyway? I thought handicapped people didn't want to be treated any different from other people? I call bullshit on the whole situation.
