Ahh, this would be funny if it weren't horrendously ignorant. It's the Japanese who have no letter L, so they make the R sound instead. The Korean, on the other hand, are able to pronounce both these letters perfectly well (as evident by the appearance of both letters in the name of SK's capital: Seoul, Korea)

It would sound a lot more like "is yeo repeurigerateo reonning?"

I think Chinese & Koreans are the only Asian race that could easily pronounce & distinguish Rs and Ls = = This joke is often used on Japanese people, not Korean nor Chinese.

I know this is 9 years old....but as an English teacher currently teaching English in Korea to Korean students....this is actually accurate.
