I have para-thyroid tumor. The one type that causes you to be obese. I minored in gym and can do the splits and bench press 100 reps at 100 lbs easy (can't go above 100 lbs b/c screwed up rotator cuff.) I get SO TIRED of people giving me "You can do it!" I try to give THEM gym advice, like classes to attend or places to get better gym clothes etc. And they just keep talking to me, like I never stepped inside a gym b/f. UG!
