Why do parents ground kids after the fact on something like this? I would be a bit annoyed, yes, but at least the kid is smart enough to use a condom. I think a slap upside the head for hiding it and some positive reinforcement for using a condom would better suit the situation.

I mean I don't get why parents have such a concern with sex in the first place. My mom had me when she was still in highschool, not the smartest move she'll be the first to admit that however, she knows that any punishment she gives me won't deter me from having sex so she just educates me on consent, safe sex, healthy relationships, etc. etc.
