Well, Andy's mom did say that Woody was an heirloom, had been in the family for a long time.

I can still hear, "when somebody loves you, everything is beautiful" song every time I get depressed, or when my friends get dumped I play that song. Gawd why!

Andy and Emily go to the same tire swing on their roadtrips in their flashbacks with Jessie and Woody. Maybe Emily takes Andy there to relive her memories and maybe hopes to one day find Jessie.

New concept.. Woody used to be Andy's moms brothers (his uncle's) toy. After she lost Jesse her brother gave her woody to make her happy.
