So, first, what are you willing to pay?

It's really the monthly plan that has kept me from getting one, but if you have one that you recommend, let me know. I really don't want an iPhone though. I appreciate the help. :)

If you're up for a good phone that doesn't cost a lot, I'd suggest the Motorola Moto G. If you are going spend a lot, you might as well wait for the Motorola Moto X. You can get the HTC One if you really want a beautiful android and you're willing to spend the money, but you may not like the camera. The sound quality is also very good. If you want a very good performing phone and, like me, don't care that much if the phone is plastic, you can get the Samsung Galaxy S5. It has the best battery life of all the flagships I've used, trust me. If you can handle a really large screen, I suggest you wait for the Galaxy Note 4 next month, or if that's too big, the LG G3. If you're looking for a phone that is little but still performs as well as the big boys, don't get those minis. The Sony Xperia Z3 Compact is your ONLY GOOD CHOICE here. If you want the phone with the best camera, and an overall average phone, the Xperia Z3 is up for you.

To narrow down your choices, I suggest that you say what you love or hate in phones.
