When they visited me they were polite and respected me when I asked them to please leave. However, I had an anxiety attack because I didn't expect it, there were two of them, and I'm 5'2.

They're actually not as bad. Most are pretty sweet and helpful

The only time Jehovah's witnesses visit me are when they are part of my mom's side of the family

You know, we're on the internet. I think the problem has been blown so far out of proportion that everyone's 'scared' of them now.

Once they came to my door, and told me who they were, I was thinking "Oh god no I've heard about them, what're they gonna do....?" All they did was hand me a brochure and I was like "Oh alright."

My moms coworker is a JW and every conversation we have has to be related to JW. The song on the radio somehow has a connection, the sunglasses I was wearing somehow had a connection. At first I didn't mind it, but it get really annoying. Then she always tells me to visit the JW website. I don't mind religion, just don't force it on me. I'm Catholic and staying that way.

I'm genuinely interested in what they actually believe in and would like a copy of The Book Of Morman to read.

If you go to a church nearby you can probably get one! You can also buy them online and in certain book stores. Living in Utah, and not even a Mormon myself, I have four copies.

That's awesome! No churches around here at all but did feel odd ordering one online. I want to speak face to face with one, just to have a conversation over some caffine free tea...

You might be able to look into where the closest ward is, if you contact them I'm sure they'd be willing to set up a meeting to tell you more. There are a lot of great principles in their religion. A lot of their practices and teachings are really just about being the best you can be.

We have mormons who used to come by like every week and give us cookies because no one updated their database and they thought someone in their ward still lived in our house. It went on for like two months xD

They are a real problem in infested areas. I've found two sure-fire cures. Telling them I'm a satanist and introducing them to my Rottweiler!
