I would never tell anyone what s/he should listen to, but I know the feeling of real pain caused by soo much of this so-called music which is only manufactured for the demands of people, who are actually not really into music, but think one should like music, because, "hey, people like music, don't they?". So yes, I'm a musical snob, gladly, but would never make anyone have to listen to what I love, nor would I recommend music to a person, who clearly doesn't even like music in the first place, cause otherwise s/he could not listen to this utter crap on the radio or whatever is causing me migrane...

What music do you like?

I have come to love music in a lot of genres, and what I guess it has in common, is that the artists have apparently felt an urge to express themselves, and not so much an urge to become rich and famous. If it makes him/them rich and famous, fine, but there is a lot of really uninspired music around. I can't really tell why exactly, but some music leaves me in goosebumps and tears for its sheer beauty, some music purges and enlightens me. This is what art can do to you if you are ready to let it happen. And for me this can be a Bluegrass Song by Red Allen (Today has been a lonely day), a Madonna Single produced by William Orbit (Don't tell me), an ancient Stooges piece (Loose) or maybe some Johnny L followed by Fania All Stars Live. Depends on a lot of things...

This describes how I feel about people who hate Frozen and tell fans to "let it go".
