That fine line is often crossed. The moment someone gets hurt, emotionally or physically, it's not being funny: it's being mean, if not cruel. I love a harmless prank as much as the next person does, but now a days people go to extremes to get views and recognition. How would you feel if you were chased by a "chainsaw" wielding man, or found a "corpse"?
Or or its not pranks. Its disturbing the peace. Joseph A. Costello is a prime example. A prank is something you do to friends, family, or someone you've known awhile. Not to comman people. Jackass was the last good group to do anything in the public but now its all just copy cats trying to get by in a post TV Jackass world.
what i got out of the post was that not all pranks are funny and people need to think about whether or not they should do a prank to a total stranger who might not like being bothered by someone disturbing the peace
Yeah, if your a puss.
