Who's this? (Sorry I really don't know and I'm interested in finding out why the person/show/movie is worth remembering also if it's a show or movie is like to watch it)

Edward Snowden.
He is an ex-CIA and NSA employee. He leaved his job and exposed the ilegal stuff both these companies were doing.
But apparently, people care more about what new cut hair someone got rather than these companies spying them.
This is what's wrong with society today. Everything gets forgotten, replaced by something new. Trends die out much quicker now, popular songs and events fade into obscurity within weeks. In today's world, we have grown to depend on new things to gawk at, and have forgotten how to remember. In an age in which everything is recorded, where everything can be found online, we as a people have forgotten how to remember.
Very well said NS but one thing bothers me. You can make your statement stronger if you do not repeat yourself (we have forgotten to remember was stated twice). Sorry. I'm an English teacher.
The repetition was probably done for emphasis or just because some people won't connect the ideas the first time. Plus there are TONS of famous people who do the same thing, and we study their work in English class. And this is a colloquial response to a post online, not a response to an English prompt. Sorry. I'm an AP English student. (Sorry if this seems disrespectful. I just believe you should look at the message, not the way the message is written.)
Snowden is still a hero within all the conspiracy (alternative new) sites. Switzerland has just granted him permanent asylum. Mainstream media is controlled by the same powers that want Snowden dead.
