Those two trucks have a combined mpg of 6. Also they're probably compensating for something. (Hint: not everything, is bigger in Texas.)

The Hummer, yes. The Ford F-350 is most likely (hopefully) used for farm/ranch work. It's not lifted, has stock wheels, probably stock engine and so forth. Not all people who drive trucks are compensating for something. They do serve a good purpose to people ie: hauling things, towing things.
A lot of Texans are ranchers/farmers and haul livestock or produce. Generally livestock.
