There is a difference between being cured and surviving Ebola. 60% or more of the Africans that contract Ebola survive it as well, but it doesn't mean they were cured by medical science. I don't care if the survivability rate is better in the US that in Africa I do not want Ebola here. All flights into the US from Africa should be suspended immediately. We can airdrop them some experimental drugs and some medical supplies and keep it at arms length.
I am well aware that Africa is a continent. I really don't care. People move from country to country within the continent of Africa. Ebola has not yet been confined to one country, it has spread among multiples. There is a high degree of likelihood that other African nations have visitors and citizens incubating the Ebola virus as we argue. This is not a chance I am willing to take. Many in the medical community in my region share this fear. Our hospitals are putting protocol into place TODAY to prevent the spread should an infected patient be admitted. Many people in the United States are battling viruses that came into our country from South America earlier this year. Some people have already died from regional viruses foreign to them. The only possible way to stop a pandemic is to restrict international travel. Do I "realize Africa is not a country", give me an effing break.
Countries like my own have imposed absolute and complete travel bans on West Africa, you can't go in or out. I live in South Africa btw. I'm like from the Dutch settlers from a few hundred years ago, anyway the country actually had a predominantly white government until 20 years ago believe it or not.... then well yeah. What I want to say is yes, travel bans surely, Ebola isn't pretty, but allow your own in for treatment and allow medical staff and supplies through. Rather combat it there than at home right? Anyway, go check my last vid it's pretty funny, but look at the car types. Richest of the rich to the poorest of the poor.
I laughed a lot at that video. Your ministers are like our congressmen in that they all have an overblown sense if self importance, and need to be reminded that they serve the public. I hope you and yours all come through this pandemic unscathed and I'm sorry I barked at you
this is quite logical... not saying this logics is a good one but; everybody is scared of dying immediatelly (ebola) a whole lot more than they're scared of their grandchildren maybe facing major floods and stuff like that.
Right now the government has fabricated the "global warming" surveys. There has been no significant change caused by humanity. Many countries including Australia have called out against Obama's BS global warming. Nonetheless I think we should care for our environment and practice maintaining it for future generations, but this "global warming" is a bunch of BS
Today marks the 18th year of no global warming. The climate has always changed, please explain exactly what "normal" climate is. I'll give you a hint, there's historically been more and less of everything the climate can throw at us before now, so what is changing? When is this "change" going to happen?
Dear guest, I agree, change is something that happens constantly, the earth has suffered many climate changes. Nonethless, humanity is accelerating that change. I think you can search information by yourself, arguments in favor and against of anthropic climate change. Just, don't believe everything they say.
People: Wow you stupid Christian GTFO!
Scientists: There is no God
People: We knew it! The scientist said it so its true!
