I don't care that phone is simple and smoother. I care that they make a phone with two year old specs and then sell it for full price. U wouldn't pay extra large pizza money for a small.
@mighty...I know the phone you just released has the most recent specs, but can you please enlighten me on on which specific 2 year old specs you're talking about? Was it the fingerprint sensor? The introduction of a voice assistant?
You're legit talking about features that were existing two years ago as well. More actually. And the processor for example, dual core a8, vs the snapdragon 805,which is quad core. The camera is still 8 megapixels. The screen is alright granted. But compared to Samsung its not nearly as good. And let's not forget the greatest one of all #bendgate
Also, lg g3 has a 2k screen with I THINK 550 pixels per inch, iPhone 6 only gets around 400. Apparently their iPhone 5s had one gigabyte of RAM, while other phones at the time had 2 gigs. The megapixels aren't the only thing that determines a camera's quality, so we'll skip that. You went over the processor so we'll skip that. Many android phones have expandable storage, while iPhones have never had that. The voice assistant fo iOS has been proven to be less advanced than google now and even cortana, the first edition of Microsoft's new voice assistant.
And guest, just because mighty can't create a smartphone doesn't mean you have to challenge him in such a accusing manner. I doubt anyone on this site, including me, could even build a commodore 64, let alone a phone. We're discussing this on the standards of phone companies.
Nexus 6 is also getting 2k according two rumors and so is the note 4. Oh and one last thing. Making a phone with a bigger display doesn't do anything, the reason Samsung was so successfully was because they made it different, and packed features that take advantage of the phones size. Apple just made an oversized iPhone.
actually I can ask however I want.
So twice the core? You know apple uses their processors extremely efficiently, so they don't need to have the best so dual core and 1 gb are plenty. The camera megapixels haven't changed, but the processor has. The new iPhone 6 processor rivals entry level dslr processors.
Ah bend gate, I trust you've tested this yourself. There have been 9 reports of that actually happening of the 10 million units sold. Read consumer report's article (their a hell of a lot less bias than randoms on youtube). Think about buying a car, a toyota may have better crash ratings that a ferrari, but which would you want?
As for screen, you've admitted iPhone is better, but that does't matter anyway, like you'd be able to see the pixels enough to tell.
Granted expandable data is nice, but iPhones 128 holds just as much as the expandable. But even with a few more gig, what are you really doing with that? Are you recording full length plays?
ns, where is it proven that Siri is inferior? I'm assuming this would be published everywhere on reputable sites, but I can't find any non-biased reviews that said it was anything different than personal preference and usage that makes one best. Edit: sorry I'm not trying to be mean, I'm buying a phone for my mom and I think she's going to use a lot of the voice features, so I want a true review)
To the guest, you rlly didn't read my comment. I don't care if the iPhone works perfectly fine or not with its specs. The point is, they're still outdated, and shouldn't be costing as much as they do. And if u want to talk about Ferrari's they're nothing like Iphones. A Ferrari is super fast has a powerful engine meant to give the best speed and performance. Apple if anything is like a smart car. Engines not great, cheap to build, gets smashed out of shape easily and lastly is overpriced.
A Little Caesars large is $5 but I rather walk into my local pizza parlor and lay down $3 for a single slice... and that recipe is much older than two years.
Awesome post! This is pretty much my opinion after spending an hour at the At&t store this week. I'm buying a new phone for my mom (she has an iphone 4), and I've been doing a TON of research on the 2 phones. This is basically the conclusion I've come to.
I don't get why there's so much commotion about Apple and Android. I mean a person can chose to spend their money how ever, and it's up to them what phone they use. Maybe they want to follow trends, maybe the use it for work. I don't know. Because it's their business what they decided to use. It's like asking what tv you have? That not nearly a big a deal. I think a lot of people just want a phone that text, calls, email, Internet and apps. It's pretty simple.
Smartybo - I believe this all started when iPhone users started acting like they were 'better than' just because they had Apple products. You just aren't in, not as cool ad them. So push back from others should not have been unforseen. Especially when the holier-than-thou's were the ones that had an inferior product.
See I don't get why the apple users did that in the first place, because as I first stated, it's not really their business. I mean I'm sitting here writing this using my iPad. Then I have just some random phone, but my mum has android and always bugs me about how it's so much better than Apple. As I was saying, it's neither sides business in the first place. Ok yes if Apple users started it then ok, but android users doing the same back? Two wrongs don't make a right.
So twice the core? You know apple uses their processors extremely efficiently, so they don't need to have the best so dual core and 1 gb are plenty. The camera megapixels haven't changed, but the processor has. The new iPhone 6 processor rivals entry level dslr processors.
