I wanna see the statistic as to how many women are pedophiles because I bet it's near 0-1%. Of course males are seen as more of a threat. They are generally more violent and more sex-driven because they have so much more testosterone than women.

Okay I know t might be a bit of topic but I'm curious. Okay so I've heard of women raping men and men raping women and men raping men but I have never heard of women raping women. Now just because I be never heard of something it doesn't mean it hasn't happened. Anyway now back to the topic I think this is fucked up not every guy is a pedophile. And that lady that was taking pictures of the kids at the beach I would actually feel uncomfortable if she was taking pictures of me or other kid any person taking pictures for that matter.

Why did you feel the need not every guy is a pedophile? in many countries you will be seen as not worthy if its found out you are one, only a very small % is.

As someone who was molested as a child, (by my grandfather) I feel more comfortable with women if I have to sit with anyone, but I feel safer with younger people than old people (I'd rather sit with a man in his 20s-30s than an old woman. But all the same, this is utterly ridiculous and you should never discriminate. Just make it easier for kids to tell someone if there are problems, if you feel the need.

Sorry, but today tonight isn't known to be a reliable source. They're known for butchering and dramatising stories to bring in viewers. They're kind of like the celebrity magazines of news. Even in the bottom corner of the scene where the people were taking pictures it said dramatisation. Just thought I'd let you know not to get your hopes up about this story being 100% accurate

For example after this video I clicked on one called 'child cosmetics' or something which featured 18 and 19 year olds. In Australia (where this was filmed) you're an adult at 18, and they had people expressing their disgust that children were getting plastic surgery, when in reality it was 2 adults.

Being Australian, I agree with you about today tonight is not reliable. But the idea of the dramatisation in the phone scene was that they got actors and did like a 'test'. They even said that. But I do agree that today tonight isnt reliable anyway.

Although it's not a reliable source, the basis of the story is true. Men are discriminated against when it come to children. In custody battles for example, the court is more likely to let the mother keep the children.

Yeah, well with those statistics that say 30.1 percent of child abuse happens from a male realtive, whereas only 11 percent for a stranger... you would be more likely to prevent statutory rape by removing the male parent sitting next to the child. When a woman takes photos of children, its automatically assumed to be their children, but as soon as a man steps in, its reported. I can see what you mean about needing to prevent child abuse, but there are better ways to do it then that.
