i just bought some sphere ice cube maker things on amazon for $4. they don't make perfect spheres like this but they're pretty cool. ha.

I don't think it's pressure.... this is just a machine that specializes in cutting ice cubes into spheres....

It looks like two neodimium magnets crushing the ice.
And in that case, it is pressure.

They're not magnets, they're just made from a certain material that melts ice quickly. As the parts touching the cylinders melt, the ice cube fills the 2 hemispheres in the cylinders and it makes a ball of ice.
