it's only frowned upon here because these same women are attacking game developers for making women in games look like this, then dressing up as those same skimpy women.

That's another thing I don't understand, why blame men because they like to see a sexy woman. We tell everyone you can't help what turns us on such as sexual orientation. I can't draw, but if I could I would be drawing what aesthetically pleases me.

Maybe it's because she has a choice whether or not to dress skimpily (for there are plenty of women who don't dress like this), but in video games it's not representing women correctly if they are are clad in almost nothing? Kinda like... All women in video games are shown as sex symbols, whilst in real life, women can be sex symbols only if they want to be. (If that made any sense at all).

the point isn't that she dresses skimpily, it's specifically that she dresses up as the video game women she says shouldn't be dressed skimpily. If she has a problem with their clothes, why does she go to great lengths to copy their exact clothes and appearance?
