I'm Aussie but full blooded scottish settlers, the first on Queensland. Mind you one of my ancestors was responsible for the cape grim massacre :/

Well, yeah, since Australia was intended to be a huge prison, every Aussie, expect for the ones who migrated later and aborigines, is a descendant of a criminal. It's funny how people who literally came from criminals now have a better society and government than the (in)famous "country of freedom".

I am South Australian. We were Settled by Pioneers. Not Convicts. But nobody knows that.

Let just take a moment to recognise the irony - Australia was settled by criminals but now has lower crime rates than Britain :/
