So, the legend is true

There are reports of people's toes and even whole legs being sucked up by escalators... Esp in the country where I used to live there were a lot of escalators so I'd hear about this sort of thing a lot. One time this lady with a long scarf died because the escalator sucked up her scarf.

Seen a kid get his pant leg sucked into one. He sat down to try to free his pants and the escalator sucked in his butt. Some guy yanked him out and he had deep lacerations on his upper thigh that resembled the escalator pattern :/

This is why I prefer stairs over escalators and elevators!
