So, he's trusting his greatest means of defense to a battery operated piece of machinery?
Based off of fingerprint scanners...
Under most circumstances, I wouldn't even consider this.
There always will be. But as soon as guns aren't considered taboo anymore, it'll get better.

But there's always going to be a taboo, they are weapons, their primary purpose is to cause injury and death. I'm not saying they should be banned, just that competence and safe storage should be a legal requirement of ownership.
This would suggest that the person attacking you also has a gun, which brings us back to square one.

When fingerprint technology first appeared it was prone to failure, years of development of the technology have improved it dramatically.
And no, the primary use of a firearm is as a weapon, it's a simple fact of their design. Weapons can be used in self defense, but that is only because of (and does not change) their primary use.
Like I said before, buying a gun doesn't make you want to kill someone, yes that is what it was made to do, but if I buy a gun, do I automatically want to kill you? No? Therefore I'm correct

What? I never made that claim. Whatever reason you have for buying a gun does not change its primary use. It is a weapon, it is designed to inflict injury, this is a simple fact.
Really? Have you seen the milita... I mean police forces that have fucking tanks

And? How is the police force having military equipment: A. a result of gun control and B. taking guns away from law-abiding owners? If anything the militarization of the police is a result of lax gun control.
It's just leftover military equipment. They should of never transferred the equipment over to the police when the police don't have the proper training to handle the military equipment. Giving guns to law-abiding citizens wouldn't help in this case, as it would give the police more incentive to shoot them.
I propose we pass a bill that says that guns can be more restricted as long as all politicians that signed it has a sign in their yard saying "this is a gun free zone@
They need to make laws to restrict police and law enforcement in the US to certain types of equipment. Assault rifles are a bit too much for most things, as well as some of the really heavy artillery that they somehow acquired. They also need to restrict or help teach how to use these things.
Cops should be limited to on-duty pistols and a shotgun per squad car. SWAT should have access to sub machine guns, no assault rifles, and most definitely no fucking artillery
Can I jump in and say I don't know how I feel about banning guns in general, but there should be stricter laws about ownership in place. Currently in a lot of places you just have to fill out a form, wait a couple weeks for the licence and then you can get the gun. But you should have to have your records checked, get a psych evaluation saying you are mentally stable enough not to buy a gun with the intent to harm other people and have to take a course about gun safety every couple of years or you lose the license.
What the fuck do you think they are doing while "you wait a couple weeks for the license"? What do you think they do every time you walk into a store to purchase a firearm? Look up NICS.
Okay I didn't realize that happened.... My knowledge of gun laws is basically you need a license to own one and you can only hunt certain things at a certain time of year... Ignore what I said then.
So you are saying at 15ish years old you could fake your parents finger prints?

cops dont fake fingerprints to open your gun safe..^^
cops just get your fingerprints to catch evil persons, but thats another story.. i speak about faking fingerprints to trick fingerprint-readers to think you are another person.
4 button combination single piece safe with a spring loaded door works when I'm not home and cannot have my piece with me. Big vault for the rest. If I am home my primary carry piece us stashed where I can get to it quick and nobody else can get it.

Senator who hates guns (Harry Reid for example) : "I think guns should be outlawed"
*stands I fdon't of 5 armed to the teeth guards*
