Plot holes, things extremely out of place for a lighthearted kids movie.... Eight year olds kissing for some reason.... And so much filler you'd swear you're at the department store
Ehhh, not really. It's just the ending was a little out of place.
Let me put in perspective. The ending of this movie is the equivalent of it they ended Toystory by shooting Cid in the head
Yeah. Also that little thing he said before he died, I believe it was something along the lines of 'brother, brother, please, when I have no one left to scare, I find myself getting very frightened, and... The crows...' And then they ate him for no apparent reason. No where in this movie was there anything remotely close to that
Yeah, a more fitting ending would be if the birds just kind of left him and it just ends with him being all alone instead of eaten. So yeah something tells me that was only done to compete with Disney and it's magnitude of villain deaths.
Also his death doesn't feel justified because we don't actually meet him until about three quarters through the movie, not to mention that arguably he did nothing but try and run a buisness
He didn't do much as far as villains go, if you go back and watch the movie again it's easy enough to make the argument that he was just trying to keep his buisness going, and his buisness happened to be scaring people with things in his circus, all you can be mad at him for would be getting a bit greedy, and again, this is for such a short period of time that death wasn't necesary, especially after he loses everything
Look up Nostalgia Critic's review. He points out a lot more things than I have, also his review contains a fair amount of the movie if you just want a refresher
...
It's actually a pretty crappy movie
