gotta admit his presentation may not be the most polite but it gets the point across and it's kind of hard to disagree

And everyone likes the atheists comment yet down votes the Christians - sign of the times. Being Christian is much harder than saying oh yeah well I have never felt anything spiritual in my life so nope no God exists. but no one wants to think about that or the logic that goes with it- keep living in your world of just coasting through and not using your mind to its full potential .. I'm sure it suits that kind of close minded life style perfectly.
to me, being an atheist means that somebody might not believe in god- but that doesn't mean they aren't open to his existence. My friend is atheist- but she chooses not to believe simply because she doesn't like the idea of not having control of her life, or the idea that she's just a piece in a bigger picture that god's making. But she's still open to the fact that there could be a god- she just doesn't like the idea in it herself, so she chooses not to. God (in almost every religion) gave free-will for a reason, atheism and religion need to learn that if their chosen God/s is willing to let people choose, then they have to too.
No, it's more like telling a chain smoker they're going to get lung cancer: it's all for the satisfaction of the "I told you so!" when they eventually do.
The ultimate arrogance of atheists is the belief that we, right now, have all the technology to prove everything exists. We couldn't prove the existence of the atom until long after the idea of it, we couldn't prove many of the elements on the modern periodic table existed, although we believed they did, until much later after our technology had improved adequately.
Not quite. Atheists believe that we will be able to develop the technology needed based on what we know from what we have now.
Theists, on the other hand, believe that they are above needing to prove anything at all. :P
Quite true, quite true, but the issue is that Atheists say "God doesn't exist" which they can't prove, while Theists say "We believe God exists" because it doesn't necessitate proof, it's a belief.
that's not true. a lot of atheists say "I don't believe in god" and a lot of Christians say "God does exist". neither side have 100% proof. neither side are totally innocent to keeping on their side of the fence.

When I say god doesn't exist, I mean that there has been no scientific proof to support his existence. Of course the believe would change with proof.
It's funny how when two people have religion and use it against each other it's just like whoa two different religions keep them to your selfs

'Don't ever be dumb enough to let a stupid person make you mad, especially one who is so dumb that they can't comprehend how dumb they are' have a great day, I know you will though, living in your 'special' world ;)
I doubt if true Atheists make posts like this. In doing so, they paint their side of the argument in a very poor light. I suspect it's just lonely people who feel the need to have people react to them. Poster, whatever God you choose to follow or not to follow, I hope you find peace.

guest- as another Christian myself, I will remind you that God gave free-will to EVERYBODY. therefore, they can choose whether to believe in him or not- if certain members of every religion didn't try to force it down their throats, you can be sure that atheists wouldn't feel the need to hit back so defensively. In short- EVERYBODY MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!!
So a Christian tells them they hope they find peace while an Atheist tells them to go fuck themselves? Are all Atheists douchebag assholes, or is sablad just the exception?
Take a look at how many down votes the Christian got. Does that answer your question? But just remember - they're only doing it to save you from yourself. Hunger, poverty, diseases, and global warming? Nah, religion is a much bigger problem and that's why these selfless crusaders will try and stop it because religion tries to stop them from living their life how they want... even if they don't any of the rules. I mean how dare anyone thinks differently from them when they're obviously so superior and smarter to those who they hate because they act all sanctimonious and self righteous?
That's not what he was saying. This dude just wanted everyone to be peaceful about this and not be assholes. Most Christians would want athiests to come to church sure, but we don't want to force you. So if you don't wanna believe in God then that's fine with us.
Theists, on the other hand, believe that they are above needing to prove anything at all. :P
I especially like the part where you bring up my name, when you can't spell your own correctly.
