I got mine from the shelter too, he had been there ever since he was born, pretty much, and had been there for a while (for some reason no one had adopted him). After two or three day after I took him home, I gave him a bath. His fur is soooo soft because I give him a bath every two weeks.
I don't get why people are comparing cats to dogs all of a sudden. It feels like you're influencing us to like cats all of a sudden, as if cats are above dogs. Please stop comparing them. Keep your facts and opinions separate. Thanks.
EDIT: I realize my comment was a bit mean. I was just trying to say that cats aren't everything. I didn't mean for any hate or anything.
They never said "you should like cats more than dogs", the /fact/ that cats make more sounds/have more similar emotional centers isn't an opinion... And people do it with dogs and cats all the time, on both sides.
Because for a long time there were a bunch of posts about how cats don't care about anyone, they're evil, mean, and just want to rule the household. Also, the internet has always loved cats.
A lot of the cat posts are just nonsensical and pointless. Like this one. They just have random "facts" like how they can see ghosts. It's not hard to keep things official and real!
It's the internet.... on a website for funny images... called funsubstance, and you expect it to be educational, cold hard facts? They're nonsensical and the point is to make people smile, try not to take it so seriously.
Most people, when insulted, do not come out and say "I'm insulted" actually. Usually they say that when they actually are not. It is quite possible you were not, in fact, insulted, but that is the way you were acting, and that is a conclusion that I drew.
You know what? I'm done. You're just in it to win it, aren't you? I'm done talking to someone whose only purpose is to act like a smart Alec unnecessarily.
No my kitty does it too. She's super sweet and would let me do pretty much whatever I wanted and wouldn't scratch or bite. The only time she scratches is when she's scared.
the artist side of me wants to point out that the last cat is infact a photo realistic drawing notice the brush strokes in its eye area and the signature
