I want to be able to play like the soloist at the beginning some day... But also, I love how the trombones at first all play a single note and then put their instruments down instantly. Third violins know the feeling.

Well they're never gonna want to use those reeds again. Also I feel like that could be corrosive to their instruments right?

Yeah, I figured they might've swabbed their instruments after that.

I mean swabbing can only do so much especially with brass instruments with all the twists and turns, I immediately thought of the spit valves. But I mean these guys are professionals so I'm sure they wouldn't do anything that might damage their instruments.
