My dad hit a bumblebee with one of those electric shock paddles and kept bouncing it on it. The poor thing wasn't even dead yet. I took the paddle from him and stepped on the bee so it wouldn't continue to be in pain

I heard that insects does not feel pain the way we do. They keep on doing the stuff they did before the injury, not limping or anything .. That doesnt mean they shouldnt be treated bad.
Yeah. Mosquitos are pollenaters, but why keep them when we have bees and butterflies and other benign insects? And gnats. Fuckin hate gnats, especially during the summer archer season.
Ah, you're right. Still, I'm not sure if we really need so many mosquitos. Sure they pollinate things, but I'm not sure if they're truly necessary, as many other species pollinate things. Some species eat mosquito larva, but they don't exclusively need the larva to survive.
There are species of mosquito that don't bite humans and tend to bite other animals instead. Plus, mosquito larva aren't the only things that swim around in ponds. I'm sure there are other things they can feed on.
