How my school system expected me to deal with bullies

In my high school they kick out the victims and the people that stand up for them

if it actually worked that way...

In my old school i was even bullied in front of the teachers, and if i told them they did nothing. So i would get angry a lot but then i would get in trouble. I still get bullied at my new school but it is way less, the teachers do stuff, and I'm able to keep my temper down.

I always hated hearing about fights that broke out at school and how the kid who actually stood up for himself and acted in self defence also got suspended. That's exactly how to raise a generation of victims.

At this college I went to this one kid was bullied for weeks and one day snapped and retaliated against his bully who happened to be a girl and all he did was grab her hand so she would stop messing with him and this other guy who was like twice his size grabs him and body slams him on the ground and beats the crap out of him. The poor kid that was bullied got taken away in handcuffs and got kicked out of the school. The girl then came to class the next time bragging about how she told the cops he hit her and called her names which wasn't true. Her mom even gave the guy who beat up the kid a thank you card with like $100 in it. I went to talk to the campus police and told them what really happened and they said it wasn't my business and to stay out of it. That was like six years ago and to this day I still can't believe it.
