Cryingchicken, BO came inky office with a lot of good intentions and lofty goals. His party controlled both the house and senate so there was the perception of overwhelming support. He was going to repeal the controversial Patriot Act, close Gitmo, make government transparent again, improve race relations, restore the economy, make healthcare affordable for everybody, and end the wars. He signed an expansion of the patriot act. Gitmo still stands. His administration has been called the most secretive in modern times. He makes public comments regarding racial tensions (Eric holder helps) that seem to drive a wedge rather than improve anything. His well intentioned Healthcare Reform Act was a cluster dance when it came to implementation and health coverage costs have risen 40% since 2011 (a statistic that is not factored in when determining inflation rates). The economy is propped up on straws. We have seen middle class wage stagnation since 2007. The FED has been allowed to artificiall

Artificially prop up Wall Street while at the same time doing nothing to bring back reasonable waged manufacturing jobs. BO bickered with all his Generals over how to end the Iraq war. The ones who disagreed were forced to resign or were fired. The pullout of Iraq left a power vacuum that has been filled by ISIS whom BO and the Pentagon (unintentionally) helped form in Syria by supporting the rebel factions with money and materiel. We now have real Men and Women engaged in combat in Iraq again. This administration also declared the precious administration's "War on Terror " won. The truth us they just stopped reporting foreign terror and claim they have to spy on all of us to end "domestic terror". Most if this happened during his first term. Somehow we were stupid enough to fall for his empty promises again. His party has since lost both the house and the senate since. He may have been reelected because Romney was affiliated with a religion that scares and confuses a lot of people.

His foreign policies continue to vex Americans and Europeans alike. His immigration policies serve to infuriate much of the nation. His economic policies are worse than Cowboy George's. As the saying goes,"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." Many US voters were shamed in 2012.

What's wrong with Mormons?

Nothing at all. The fact that he had strong religious convictions turned off most "progressives" as it is assumed that all religions actively oppress gays and women. The fact that Mormons support polygamy didn't help this argument.

This is true. All the Mormons I know practice monogamy

Pegleg, the Cowboy was not perfect, but if you want to place blame you need to hit him for the Patriot Act and Clinton for the banking deregulation in 1999 with the final repeal of Glass-Steagull. I cannot singlehanded my blame BO for the failures surrounding the rollout of the Healthcare Exchange, his appointees and employees screwed that pooch. Cowboy George was convinced that Iraq was stockpiling WMDs for use in terror networks, against the Kurds, against Iran, Saudi Arabia and Israel. The information fed to the Cowboy to make this decision was likely flawed, and the few WMDs that really did exist were smuggled into Syria. Again inept appointees and employees. Cheney was as big or a bigger moron than Crazy Uncle Joe. If you want to rage against W that is fine, but at least have half of your facts right please.
